New Ford Prices

Ford is a multinational auto manufacturer known for providing a variety of quality nameplates for over 100 years. Beginning with Henry Ford’s vision for a mass-produced vehicle and the introduction of the assembly line, the list of early Fords includes the historic Model A (1903) and Model T (1908-1927) which, during its 20 years of production, was bought by over 16 million Americans. Constantly innovating, in 1925 Ford expanded into luxury after buying Lincoln Motor Company and established the mid-level Mercury division a few years later. Nearing the 1940’s, Ford had already sold 25 million vehicles and kept stock rising by introducing bestsellers like the Thunderbird in 1955 and iconic Mustang in ’64. After hitting stride with the Taurus and Escort, Ford ushered in the ‘90s with the Explorer, which helped make SUV a household term. The new millennium presented a downturn, so Ford once again reinvented itself with small cars Fiesta and Fusion while maintaining the F-150 for a demanding public. Ford today continues to influence the auto industry by offering a variety of quality nameplates in a number of segments.

Innovation has always been the key to Ford’s success, and in an ever changing industry the tenured brand always seems to remain relevant. Not content with offering class standards in the F-150 pickup or the legendary Mustang, Ford is proving it can also adapt to consumer needs by offering smaller, more fuel efficient and hybrid vehicles. With as much history and global influence, it’s just a matter of time before Ford comes out with another icon to shift the auto world toward another new frontier.
