Nissan Terra Previewed; Resembles Beasts from The Hunger Games and Ghostbusters

The conceptual Nissan Terra SUV is ULTRA modern. Instead of rounded wheel arches, it uses a square design. Instead of gasoline and electricity, it uses a hydrogen fuel cell to power its three electric motors. There are no driveshafts in the Terra; an electric motor controls the wheels up front, while in-wheel electric motors at the rear provide additional power and traction. Fast Drivers Make Their Way From San Antonio to Austin and the Mustang Goes to Europe

We wrote about this awhile back, how the great nation of Texas was opening its highways a bit (while keeping its borders closed) by ticking up its speed limits on a prominent stretch of highway to 85 miles per hour. While Texas would never, ever in a million Texas nights admit to it, how can the free-flowing highways of Germany’s 7,965 miles of autobahn not have played a part in the state’s decision? Texas loves to be bigger than everyone, and the new 85 mph zone tops the autobahn’s 81 mph “suggested” limit. Continue reading
