So we had a crazy idea. If we want to be the Zappos of Car Buying, maybe we should learn it from the source. So we rented an RV and are driving right now to Henderson, Nevada to tour the Zappos facility there.
Hopefully they let us in.
We made a giant sign and duct taped it to the back of the RV. The sign contains our real support phone number which redirects randomly to one of our cell phones in the RV. That means if you want to talk to us live just call 877-***-**** (Edited on 02/18/2011 as we’re not actually on the RV anymore).
Prank calls, business questions, hitchhikers, if you want to come to Vegas, or tell us your horror stories about Car Dealers, or just chat with random people off Hacker News – these are all welcome. But we might be drunk. Come on – we dare you.
Why? We are the Zappos of car buying. We’ll be live blogging from:
- The RV
- Zappos HQ
- Vegas strip
