This is why it’s sometimes good to be friends with car dealers. According to Dave the Dealer, our friend and blogger from an LA Honda dealership, Honda’s got a new promotion to help customers secure incentives for some of their new cars, even if their cars are in short supply! Here’s what Dave told me about the promotion:
In a nutshell, if you want to buy or lease a Honda that has a promo lease or APR (excluding Fit, Element, Insight or Civic Hybrid) and the dealer doesn’t have (or can’t get) the car, the car the dealer can order it, give the customer a commitment date for the future and still be able to honor that promo deal.
Also, if the customer is currently leasing a Honda and it’s about up and the customer wants another, they can extend their current lease with free honda care.
Lastly, they have $500 loyalty on Accords and Pilots. (Loyalty = You have or immediate family member at same household has a 2000 or newer Honda).
