I thought there were only two routes to securing a new iPad. Buying one the traditional way, either through a store or ordering one on-line, is method one. Method two involves being opportunistic and poaching one from someone who’s unaware their iPad is being watched. A lot of folks like to commute with the iPad tucked under their arms, and even more like to sit by café exits reading on them.
(Method two is obviously illegal. Still, iPads have to be the easiest, most expensive gadget to lift from someone. I think it goes with writing, but try not to leave those sleek little suckers unattended.)
There’s now a third way, compliments of Cadillac. All purchasers of the new 2013 Cadillac XTS will receive a customized iPad as part of the CADILLAC USER EXPERIENCE (CUE). The CUE is the breakthrough in-vehicle system to access entertainment and information, supported by a trained technology expert at each Cadillac dealership and 25 new Connected Customer Experts.
Every new Cadillac XTS buyer receives a welcome call from someone in the support system, too.
(I think the over-the-top customer service reach-out is completely weird and creepy.)
The XTS is Cadillac’s new interpretation of the luxury sedan, and most technically advanced car produced by the Company. It has to be. It comes with a customized iPad, the most technically advanced pad ever made.
That’s a pic of the XTS. This is a link to CarWoo!, where we can get you any car for a lot cheaper, allowing you to go and buy an iPad without ripping one from someone’s hands and running out of a café.
