Thanks for picking me up, but what is that on top of your Prius?
According to various Prius owner surveys, two of the top reasons for buying a Prius were to “take your Prius camping” and to “take your Prius camping with another couple so both couples can sleep in the Prius.” The Prius’ size is a good deterrent for double-couple camping sleepovers (unless you’re weird). Did I write is? Well, I totally meant was. As in size was a deterrent until the Japanese company Camp-Inn designed the “Prius Relax Cabin.”
The Prius Relax Cabin is a unit (yes, a unit) that fits snug on your Prius, extending 20 inches behind the car and 22 inches over the car. Now all your weird double-couple camping sleepovers can happen! One couple fits up top, and the other goes snugly in the Prius’ back with the seats down. (Mix and match as swingers see fit.)
Sounds great, right? Unfortunately, there’s this one tiny thing about the profile view that’s, uhm, strange.
