When most people are considering the best cars to rent, they think about practical considerations like “will it get good gas mileage?” and “will I have to climb up into it in these stilettos?” I, on the other hand, look at car rentals as a sort of automotive hall pass – if you’re ditching your daily ride for something else, go with the one that makes your heart pound.
