Chrysler Town & Country – The minivan stays in the picture

It appears that the minivan is once again making itself relevant, though families of five or more will tell you that these vehicles known for space and functionality never really went away.  Chrysler’s Town and Country is producing some beautiful sales numbers in 2012; the elegant space-eater has contributed to a 20% increase in overall minivan sales compared to 2011, so far. Best Vehicles for Tailgating

True story: My friends and I once tailgated without a car.  We simply integrated ourselves into the mix with dual 18 packs of Coors Light.  It helped that it was a Wazzu Cougars game, whose fans have been known to enjoy an adult beverage or two.  You don’t have to deal with the embarrassment of what we went through, though, because I’ve provided a list of the best vehicles for setting up parking lot parties.  What makes for a superior tailgater?  Beer, food, and a pickup bed, sure.  But there’s more to it than that.  I think.  Read on and see if I actually came up with anything else. Land Rover Range Rover Evoque – Evoque-ative!

When you show up to a tailgating event in the Range Rover Evoque, it’s kind of like bringing the sexy girl who’s dressed in the skin tight jersey with pink numbering and provocative name stitched on the back.  You’re not sure if they even care about the game, but they look good and by the end of the first hour everyone wants to be around her.  Or it.Back to the Evoque now.  Though it has been out for a while, the baby Range Rover still pines for attention.  And it may just surprise you with how capable it really is, so check it out. 2013 Ram 1500 Preview

I can’t help thinking that Ram sees their trucks as that overlooked Olympic athlete who trains all offseason while the reigning champ parties.  Come competition time, that second place finisher with something to prove tends to make things interesting.  To be fair, both Ford and Ram have gotten golden tans from all the limelight, and with GMC and Chevy thrown in the mix, America’s heavy duty pickup segment doesn’t really need to prove anything.  But there’s always room for improvement. Porsche Cayman – Perfect Balance

In a world full of firsts, it’s easy to overlook the ones that come in second, regardless of how impressive their feats may be.  Take the Olympics, for example.  Everyone gushes over the gold medal winner; they get the Jay Leno interview and all the endorsements, but we tend to forget the fact that the other medalists and non-winners alike were in the Olympics, too.  In the world of Porsche, the 911 gets to carry the brand flag, and for good reason, but the Cayman’s feats are also worthy of some quality blog time- mainly because it’s a damn fun car to drive. Auto Adverts of the World

Ever wonder what you’re missing out on?  I’ve come to the realization that we’re being denied access to possibly dozens of mediocre-to-decent-quality commercials simply because we can’t be there to see them in their natural habitat.  This may not bother 99.8% of the US population, but it’s all I can think about, at least for the next two hours or so.  With that level of interest in mind, I now present to you some worldly auto commercials that you otherwise may not have had the fortune of viewing.  Please, enjoy, and don’t get lost in translation.
