I don’t know if it’s the blinding red and blue lights, or that screeching siren or the annoyance that a Crown Victoria is tailgating you, but getting pulled over creates one of the worst, gut-wrenching, pit-in-stomach creating feelings known to driverkind.
As a local, you probably know a road stretch or two in your area where it’s best to stay on point with the speed limit. But when you’re in a new town, you never really know when you may turn a corner, see the cop car on the side of the road, and realize too late that the speed limit just went down by ten miles per hour.
So if you just so happen to be taking a road trip through Orlando or Austin anytime soon, be careful. These cities have nascently earned their place on the top ten worst cities for speed traps.
